SUPPLIES NEEDED:

PLANNERS:   Students will be expected to write in their planner daily.  The planner is where students will record their daily assignments, as well as upcoming quizzes, tests, projects, etc.   This will aid in student organization.  The planner will also serve as a communication device between home and school.  Along with academics, behavior points will also be marked in the planner daily.  Parents:  Please check planner regularly and sign at least once a week.

CLASS EXPECTATIONS: 

 

1.  PROMPT:  Be in your seat when the bell rings and remain in your seat until the teacher is in the room.

 

2. PREPARED: Bring all necessary supplies and work for class.

 

3.  PRODUCTIVE: MAXIMIZE learning time by staying on task, following directions, and remaining seated unless you have been given permission to get up.

 

4.  POLITE:  Be nice or neutral to everyone!  Teasing, swearing, talking back and bullying WILL NOT be tolerated! Respect yourself, your classmates, your teacher, and your classroom. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

 

5.  PATIENT:  Wait respectfully and calmly for your turn.  Listen and STAY seated when someone is talking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

LATE WORK:  Work that is not complete and/or not turned in on time is considered late.  Complete assignments must include work.  Late assignments will be noted in the student's planner.  An assignment will still receive full credit if turned in within the extended deadline.  After the extension, work will be graded as is.  The first late assignment will result in a verbal warning.  The second late assignment will result in a written warning to be signed by parent.  The third and subsequent late assignments will result in a detention.  

 

Grading Scale:

A= 100-90

B= 89-80

C= 79-70

D= 69-60

F=59-0

Class Expectations

Makeup Work:

When absent, students will receive 1 day for each day missed to make up absent work.  Students are responsible for checking Google Classroom and the absent folder in class for any work they missed.
