Always remember that YOU are a very important part of this class!!  Mathematics is not only the study of the beautiful and fascinating structures of the world, but a tool necessary for success in nearly every job and endeavor.  The skills learned in math will enable you to live a more productive life as well as to go on to other academic courses.  It can open the door to many wonderful careers.
